No. We begin our classes by focusing on your unique abilities. As you master the technique, you'll naturally build the strength needed for class. Aerial work engages muscles that many haven't used before, and through repetition, you'll develop strength in a healthy way.

For your aerial arts class, we recommend wearing comfortable workout attire, such as leggings and a T-shirt. Make sure the back of your knees is covered, and try to avoid baggy clothes or anything with zippers, as they can catch on the silks and hoops.

We provide classes for both adults and children. Our adult classes feature Lyra, Silks, and Hammock, with options for casual bookings or discounted class passes. For children, we offer term-based lessons exploring various apparatus like Silks, Trapeze, Hammock, and Lyra.

At Silk & Circus, we offer a 6-week “Intro to Aerials” course to ensure you're well-prepared to safely embark on your aerial journey. This foundational course is designed to teach you essential techniques and safety measures. We ask for a six-week commitment to solidify your basics before moving on to beginner classes. If you miss a session or two, you can still progress, and some students even choose to repeat the course for extra support. Our intro course provides a supportive environment that welcomes students to grow in their aerial arts adventure.
